2009 - iZulu Orphanage Xmas Party Gallery

$3167 was raised from the 2009 Summer League, many thanks to all kids that took part in the charity league.

From the profits and funds raised we managed to purchase and donate 300 new footballs for the orphans which they received at their Christmas party on Saturday 19th December, $500 was also kept aside for their party treats and lollies.

After following up and speaking to Kate Bains who is the founder and a life time committed volunteer at the orphanage, she commented and said that the balls were the best presents any of these kids could have wished for.

Please click on image above to view the entire gallery.

Once again a big thank you to all who made this possible.

  • U10's games are  @ 2:00pm - 3:30pm
  • U11's & U12's games are @  3:30pm / 5:00pm / 6:30pm

iZulu Charity

The 2010 / 2011 Summer League will donate all profits this year to young orphaned kids living in Africa that are infected with HIV and Aids. Most of the 800 kids are aged between 6 and 17 and like our own children love to play football, however they don't have the equipment or facilities to play the game like it should be played. We would like to make all the Summer League junior football kids understand and be aware how lucky they are to be playing football in a first world country.

This year we like to donate all profits raised from the Summer League and give the orphanage a large christmas gift hampers consisting of footballs, Christmas food and lolly bags.
